MesotheliomaHelp.Net is pleased to announce it has launched a companion website. MesotheliomaHelp.Org will highlight mesothelioma support communities with a focus on our ‘Faces of Mesothelioma’ community.
MesotheliomaHelp.Org’s ‘Faces of Mesothelioma’ is comprised of mesothelioma patients, caregivers and nurses – all who have firsthand knowledge of the life-altering impact of mesothelioma. Blog articles written by Jan Egerton, a mesothelioma survivor, and Jennifer Gelsick, a former caregiver for her father who passed away after battling mesothelioma, provide valuable insight, tips and personal reflections about the day-to-day ups and downs of living with mesothelioma.
Through our Nurse’s Corner, Lisa Hyde-Barrett and Eleanor Ericson, thoracic nurses with over 50 years of combined experience, will answer your critical mesothelioma questions. They also write about key medical information, tips for easing pain and speeding recovery, and caregiver advice.
In addition to the support from our community members, you can also find information regarding mesothelioma specialists and hospitals that offer treatment near you, fitness and wellness centers that provide cancer recovery care, home health aid stores, home oxygen suppliers, and much more.
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer typically affecting the lining of the lungs. Fighting the disease is both physically and emotionally draining. The team at MesotheliomaHelp.Org wants to ensure patients and their families that they are not alone in their battle.
Please visit MesotheliomaHelp.Org for more information.
