He was a three-year survivor of Mesothelioma Lung Cancer.
He was born February 8, 1957 in St. Joseph, MO to Irvin and Anna (Brooks) Wilson.
Bill was a Corporal in the Marine Corp from 1974 to 1978.
He married Theresa Bennett on December 28, 1979 in St. Joseph, MO.
He enjoyed racing and working on the racecars, camping, traveling, and sightseeing and had a special love for his family. He was a lifetime member of the Marine Corp League of Northwest MO. Det 180. Bill worked for the City of St. Joseph Street Department for 30 plus years.
Survivors include, his wife Theresa, of the home; son, Shawn (Christy) Ebling, St. Joseph, MO; brothers, Henry (Toni) Wilson, St. Joseph, MO, Herbert (Renita) Wilson, Elwood, Ks; sisters, Beverly (George) Bascue, Mary (Marvin) Harness, both of St. Joseph, MO, Alice Langston, Elwood, KS; three grandchildren, Shelby, Spencer, and Nicholas Ebling; mother-in-law Jan Taylor; and many nieces & nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Irvin and Johnny Wilson.
